Air conditioning systems
A central air conditioning system consists of a
condensing unit and an evaporator coil. The condensing unit compresses and cools
refrigerant gas before sending it to the evaporator coil. A blower passes air
over the super cooled coil, cooling the air. This cool air is then circulated
through ducts in your home. A "split system" air conditioning setup places the
condensing unit outside your home and the evaporator coil inside.
